The school class of 1944 at Dog Point Road.  See annotated picture below.

The teacher was not well-liked on the island.  She seemed to "pick on" Lester "Bumpy" Bracy quite a bit.  I heard negative comments from several people.  On this photo her face was covered with a piece of masking tape; I had to remove the tape and restore somewhat the degraded image beneath it.

One of the buildings on the right is Elisha G. Bunker's store, which was moved slightly west (towards the viewer, in this photo) to become the first part of Charlene Allen's house.  Charlene, shown in this photo, is the daughter of Elisha G. and Annie L. Bunker.
