The Great Cranberry Island Historical Society is proud to announce the arrival of a very special gift -- artist Michelle delValle's unique creation, "Life Size Hitty #1".
This extravaganza of a Hitty was carved with a chainsaw in Michelle's studio in Bozeman, Montana. Though made in the summer of 2005, she was sanded, distressed, and painted to look antique. Michelle's mom made the old-fashioned clothes.
Michelle donated this labor of love, knowing that Great Cranberry Island is truly Hitty's Home.
