7 June Thursday	Islesford School 8th. Grade Graduation.  Potluck dinner 5:30 pm, ceremony 6:30 pm @ Neighborhood House.  Special boat returns to GCI and NEH @ 8 pm
24 June Sunday	Memorial Service for Mrs. Glenn Hadlock, 1 pm @ Neighborhood House.  Please come and share stories, photos, and refreshments.
26 June Tuesday	Opening Ceremony, 1:45 pm @ Islesford Historical Museum; Capt. Gerard Haraden to give a short talk about the Coast Survey.
JULY
22 July Sunday	Garden Party & Art Auction sponsored by the Historical Society, 2-5 pm @ Cranberry House lawn & deck on GCI rain date: same time tomorrow NOTE: date of this event has been changed from that announced in 2006.
25 July Wednesday	Islesford Historical Society Annual Meeting: Ralph Stanley on early settlers of the islands, plus video The Story of the Acadians, 8 pm @ Neighborhood House
28 July Saturday	GCI Ultra Marathon: runners from all over the USA and the world compete at 50 km (31 miles), 50 miles, or 100 km (62 miles) by repeat circuits along the full length of Cranberry Road on Great Cranberry Island.  Event starts at 11 am.  more info
